Bristol Ivy’s Winterlong is a garter and tuck stitch cowl that uses increases and decreases to open and close a series of geometric, organic shapes: diamonds, buds, or blossoms. Wear it doubled for warmth or single to create drama. The cowl is worked flat from end to end and seamed with a three-needle bind-off. The pattern is charted and written out.
