Lyrical Knits Dash Away Mittens
is a knitting pattern that’s worked in a heavy worsted weight yarn to keep your
hands warm all winter. Dashes of the diagonal scallop stitch pattern give these
basic mittens visual interest that is both fun and easy to knit. Dash Away
mittens are worked from the cuff up and are designed with the thumb gore
entirely on the palm-side of each mitten rather than on the side. This prevents
the mittens from rotating towards the palms and keeps the decreases at the top
symmetrical with the hand. The Dash stitch patterns are in chart form only.
